Electroformed bat in a 10” x 10” x 4.5” shadow box.
the bat itself is approximately 5” x 2” in size
This beautiful bat is encased in solid copper. Each corner of the shadow box is embellished with artificial floral arrangements that compliments the copper and the autumn season.
Each piece is hand created with love, by me, through a very time intrusive process known as electroforming. Each crown takes approximately 3 weeks to create.
I work with copper because it is known as a lucky and healing metal. Copper conducts spiritual energy back and forth between individuals, crystals, auras, the mind and the spirit world.
The bat was originally purchased in an oddity shop in New Orleans in 2015.
